The Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault is set to captivate eSports enthusiasts once again, as the eight finalists have been officially announced. This prestigious tournament, which saw an astounding 515,000 players from 221 countries compete in 9.5 million Tennis Clash matches, has narrowed down to an elite group ready to battle it out for the championship.

Reigning champion Alessandro Bianco is poised to defend his title against formidable opponents including Hizir Balkanci, the winner of the first Open Qualifier, alongside Anyndia Lestari, Omer Feder, Adjua Thembisa Boucher, Eugen Mosdir, Bartu Yildirim, and Samuel Sanin Ortiz. These finalists will clash on May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum, promising an unforgettable showdown.

Adding to the excitement, this year's tournament introduces a thrilling format where the eight finalists will be divided into two teams, each led by a tennis legend. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world Number 6 and a finalist from last year, will captain one team, while former Wimbledon Champion Marion Bartoli will lead the other. The teams will compete in a series of matches, with winners advancing to the Winner Bracket. However, the competition doesn't end for those who lose initially; they'll have a chance to redeem themselves in the Loser Bracket, where individual prowess will determine the ultimate champion.

To ensure viewers are thoroughly entertained, the event will be hosted by Samuel Etienne, a celebrated French personality and Twitch streamer with over 1 million followers. He'll be joined by eSports expert Quento and former Tennis Clash number 1, Benny, known as GP365. The tournament will be set against the backdrop of a meticulously recreated Philippe-Chatrier court, complete with custom outfits, adding to the authentic Roland-Garros experience. Esteemed French umpire Aurélie Tourte will officiate, ensuring a fair and exciting series of matches.

A select audience of 250 spectators will witness the action live at the auditorium, while fans worldwide can tune in via Samuel Etienne’s Twitch channel and the Roland-Garros YouTube channel at 4pm CEST. Viewers can expect to enjoy every match, along with interactive segments and passionate discussions from special guests, blending the worlds of tennis and eTennis into a spectacular event.
