Pokémon TCG Pocket finally tackles trading in new update, but it\'s not coming until autumn

The launch of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket was met with enthusiasm, but it quickly encountered challenges, particularly with its trading system. The initial implementation of trading was criticized due to the cumbersome Trading Tokens system and restrictive trading policies. However, a recent update aims to address these issues and enhance the trading experience.

The most significant change is the complete removal of Trading Tokens. Players will no longer need to exchange cards to obtain the currency required for trading. Instead, trading will now be facilitated by Shinedust, which players can earn by opening booster packs and receiving cards that are already registered in their Card Dex. This shift to Shinedust applies to cards of three-diamond, four-diamond, and one-star rarity.

For those who have accumulated Trading Tokens, there's good news: these can be converted into Shinedust. Given that Shinedust is also used to acquire flair, further modifications are planned to refine this system. Additionally, an upcoming update will introduce a feature allowing players to share cards they're interested in trading directly through the game.

Trading spaces As previously discussed, the introduction of trading in Pokémon TCG Pocket initially felt underwhelming. The digital nature of the game necessitates more stringent trading rules to prevent exploitation, which can limit the experience compared to physical trading.

These changes, however, are not slated to arrive until autumn, leaving a considerable gap from the current spring season. While the development team is actively addressing the issues, the pace of these updates has left some players wanting more immediate solutions.
