NET Project: GFL2 Spinoff Opens Pre-Registration

Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and a limited beta test! Read on to learn how to participate and discover more about this exciting new addition to the Girls’ Frontline universe.

Project NET Pre-Registration is Now Live!

The highly anticipated mobile game, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3rd, 2025, as announced via the official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account. To join the ranks of eager players, simply visit the official Project NET SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then be asked to provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.

SEA Shock Point Test: Exclusively for the Philippines (Android Only)

Alongside pre-registration, Project NET announced a limited beta test, dubbed the "Shock Point Test," on March 4th, 2025, via its SEA Twitter (X) account. This test is currently exclusive to players in the Philippines and utilizes Android devices. Access is limited, the test is non-monetized, and all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test is also planned for the Russian region, with details available on their RU website. The developers are actively optimizing the game for a global launch in the future.

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24th, 2025, and March 26th, 2025. Further test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, the exact dates of which are yet to be announced.

Project NET: Unveiled in December 2024

Initially announced on December 27th, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9th, 2025, to January 16th, 2025.

Building upon the success of the Girls’ Frontline franchise, which began in 2016 as a popular strategy RPG gacha game, Project NET promises a fresh take on the universe, incorporating familiar characters and aesthetics within a new third-person shooter format. The franchise has also expanded into an anime series and other games, with the recent release of Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium on December 5th, 2024.

While a release date for Project NET remains unannounced, the game is currently planned for release on iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial test.
