Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Dark and Bloody Battle Pass

Get ready for Marvel Rivals Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This season plunges players into a gothic horror-themed experience dominated by Dracula, with a stellar battle pass offering a trove of exclusive rewards.

The Darkhold battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), boasts an impressive lineup of 10 character skins, plus sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. Completing the pass rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units – currency usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. A key feature: the pass doesn't expire, allowing players to complete it at their own pace.

The trailer showcases a thrilling glimpse of the new skins: Magneto as King Magnus (House of M inspired), a Wild West-themed Rocket Raccoon, a medieval Iron Man reminiscent of Dark Souls, a vibrant Peni Parker, and a regal Namor.

Here's a full list of the Season 1 battle pass skins:

  • Loki: All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight: Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon: Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker: Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto: King Magnus
  • Namor: Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man: Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock: Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch: Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine: Blood Berserker

The season's dark aesthetic is evident throughout, from Wolverine's Van Helsing-inspired skin to the blood moon casting its shadow over a gothic New York City. Loki's All-Butcher skin, Moon Knight's black and white ensemble, and Adam Warlock's crimson-caped golden armor further emphasize this chilling theme. Even Scarlet Witch receives a stylish update to her signature red and purple attire.

While the battle pass is generating considerable excitement, the absence of skins for the newly introduced Fantastic Four (Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic) has surprised some players. Cosmetics for these characters will be available through the in-game shop. Despite this, the abundance of new content promises an exciting start to Marvel Rivals' first season, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what NetEase Games has in store for the future.
