Alchemy Stars: Offline Mode Incoming, Server Shutdown January 24th, 2025
Tencent and Level Infinite recently announced the upcoming closure of Alchemy Stars' online services. Launched in June 2021, the mobile game will transition to an offline-only version on January 24th, 2025. This means players can still enjoy the game's story and gameplay, but with no further updates or online features.
Server Shutdown and Offline Transition:
The live service will officially end on January 24th, 2025, at 4:00 GMT. Before this date, a crucial maintenance period will take place on January 10th, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT, to implement version 1.43.0, which includes a local data save feature.
Saving Your Progress:
Players must update to version 1.43.0 and utilize the in-game data save function located on the main page before the January 24th deadline. While multiple saves are allowed, any unsaved progress will be lost permanently after 4:00 GMT on January 24th.
Offline Version Limitations:
The offline version will be a static release; no further updates will be provided. Deleting the app will result in permanent data loss, as re-downloading or reinstalling will not be possible. The offline mode allows players to replay the story, upgrade units, and interact with their saved progress.
Download Before It's Gone:
While the offline version offers a reprieve from a complete shutdown, players are encouraged to download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store before its online services cease.
