Jump King: 2D Platformer Hits Mobile Worldwide with Expansions

Jump King, the 2D platformer that has become a rite of passage for gamers who enjoy a good challenge and the occasional rage-quit, has now made its way to mobile devices. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has been launched globally for both Android and iOS platforms following a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark in March of this year. Originally released on PC in 2019 and on consoles in 2020, Jump King brings its signature brutal jumping mechanics to mobile players worldwide.

What’s Jump King on Mobile Like?

In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored character whose sole task is to jump. However, these jumps demand precision and perfection; one misstep and you'll find yourself plummeting back to the start. The game's autosave feature kicks in with every successful leap, adding a layer of tension to each jump. Your ultimate goal is to ascend to the top and encounter the legendary Smoking Hot Babe. Be warned, though: there are no shortcuts here. A single poorly timed jump can undo all your progress, sending you back to square one.

The mobile version maintains the game's core mechanics with intuitive controls. To jump, simply hold to charge and release to soar. It's a game that tests your precision and patience, but also your ability to handle panic and make split-second decisions.

What Else Should You Know?

Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system, where you begin with 300 hearts. Each fall costs you one heart. To replenish your hearts, you can spin a daily fortune wheel for a chance to win between 10 and 150 hearts, or watch ads to earn up to 150 free hearts.

The mobile version also comes packed with two full expansions. 'New Babe+' introduces a second chapter with a unique and challenging path, while 'Ghost of the Babe' takes you into a haunting third act set beyond the Philosopher’s Forest in a desolate landscape.

If this sounds like your kind of game, you can download Jump King from the Google Play Store and start your ascent today.
