Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8: A Deep Dive into New Features and Updates!

Get ready for a thrilling new season in Hearthstone Battlegrounds! Season 8 introduces exciting additions, including new trinkets, heroes, minions, and spells. This update promises a fresh and engaging experience for both seasoned players and newcomers.

Trinkets: The New Power-Ups

The core addition is the introduction of Trinkets – powerful new enhancements. Players will encounter 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with the possibility of obtaining duplicates. These become available on turns 6 and 9, offering four choices each time. The trinkets offered are tailored to your hero and current board composition, ensuring strategic relevance regardless of your chosen minion type (Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, etc.).

Marin the Manager: A New Hero Arrives

Meet Marin the Manager, the newest hero joining the Battlegrounds roster! Marin provides a significant advantage by granting an extra Trinket a turn earlier than usual, giving you a head start on your opponents.

Minions and Spells: A Roster Refresh

Season 8 also sees a significant refresh of the minion pool. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 fan favorites are returning, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.

Four new cards are introduced:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's three leftmost minions.

Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event! Complete event quests to earn a total of 14 card packs, including packs from the Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop expansions.
