Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor were thrilled to see new figures included in this latest batch of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin is now available in a new figure, while the game's protagonist, Cal Kestis, is featured in a three-pack set alongside Turgle and Skoova Stev. A standout feature of Cal's figure is the inclusion of multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache. According to Houle, this look was a focal point for the release.

"We just wanted to have fun with it," Houle shares with IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs that we unveiled. We started with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean-cut look and the short beard. The handlebar mustache is almost our primary look because it's so much fun."

As for Merrin, her inclusion was a no-brainer given her significance in the Fallen Order/Survivor narrative. The challenge lay in accurately capturing her unique Force abilities.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff notes. "We're thrilled to finally include Merrin, and depicting her Force effect with the green blast, along with the detailed new costume and face tattoos, was a challenge we embraced. She's a beloved character, and we're committed to expanding her world."

This year's lineup also revisits familiar faces like Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the abundance of figures over the years, Houle believes there's still room for improvement.

"It's been a while since we last tackled them," Houle explains. "We've updated them with new tools, incorporating the latest articulation technology. Fans can now enjoy these classic characters with enhanced detail and movement. We've learned a lot from previous Wookiee figures, especially in managing their long hair with softer plastics to ensure seamless head movement. For Han, we've added articulation at the top of the boot to maintain the clean look of his red-striped pants."

Among the new figures, The Ronin from the Star Wars: Visions anime anthology series stands out. This black-and-white figure, accented only by the red katana lightsaber, is exclusive to Celebration attendees. Both Houle and Reiff took great care to perfect the finer details.

"We stayed true to the original concept," Houle says. "Drawing from Japanese culture, we designed a premium box with magnetic openings, clean aesthetics, and hidden accessories. The packaging, complete with watercoloring and Japanese text, reflects the attention to detail we put into every aspect from design to engineering."

Reiff adds, "We usually don't include Japanese language on our packaging, but given our location in Japan for the event, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special Japanese-only package."

Lastly, fans of the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line will be excited about the newly revealed Death Trooper helmet showcased during the Celebration panel.

"It's a completely new tooled helmet for our Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff enthuses. "It looks as if it's straight out of the movie with its weathering and lighting details. A button on the side activates the chin lights and spectre sensor lights. We worked closely with Lucasfilm to ensure accuracy, adding detailed interiors to enhance the overall experience."
