Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN has an exciting exclusive preview of Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's nothing short of spectacular. This new box set introduces the notorious Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks, transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, complete with their signature rockstar outfits.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set draws inspiration from a beloved episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. This exclusive set features meticulously crafted 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all dressed for their Band of Vipers World Tour concert. The set is packed with an impressive 29 accessories, including a variety of musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and a full drum set. Even the packaging is designed to replicate the iconic Springfield Theater, adding an extra layer of nostalgia and authenticity.

You can snag this box set exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con, scheduled from July 24-27, 2025. Post-event, limited quantities will be available on the Hasbro Pulse website, so keep an eye out if you miss the convention.

For fans who cherish a more retro feel, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to the Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, modeled after the classic A Real American Hero toys, features O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging. It glows in the dark when exposed to UV light and comes with microphone and guitar accessories. Priced at $20, it will be available for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.
