Oriol Cosp has officially launched Gods vs Horrors, an exciting new single-player roguelike that draws inspiration from the acclaimed Slay the Spire and Super Auto Pets. In this card autobattler, you take on the role of the Warden of Realms, tasked with building synergistic teams of gods to combat a variety of atrocities. The fate of the world is in your hands, so the pressure is on!

In Gods vs Horrors, you'll strategize the optimal positioning of your recruited gods, enhancing their abilities across different mythologies. The goal is to increase your Devotion level, allowing you to recruit even more powerful deities. You'll face the challenge of balancing short-term and long-term benefits: should you use Divine Essence to boost your current powers, or save it to enhance your Devotion level for future gains?

From the available online footage, Gods vs Horrors appears to blend elements from Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode and Balatro, offering a mix of 170 gods and various relics to experiment with. The "horrors" you'll face are truly terrifying, and you'll encounter six different bosses, each with unique environmental effects that add to the challenge. Saving the world won't be easy, but it's certainly rewarding.
