Fortnite's Storm King Triumph Unveiled

Locating the Storm King

The Storm King doesn't appear until you progress through the Storm Chasers update's quests. These quests begin by talking to Kayden, who reveals the Storm Chaser base camp location. From there, you must interact with a storm (indicated by purple vortices) to advance the questline, ultimately leading to the Storm King.

The final quests involve defeating Raven and powering the Tempest Gateway. After assisting the Storm Chasers, Raven's hideout will be marked on your map. Defeat Raven by dodging his dynamite and melee attacks, using a shield and crossbow.

To power the Gateway, collect at least 10 Eye of the Storm items. Some are obtained by defeating Raven and upgrading the base camp; others are found in Storm Dungeons.

Defeating the Storm King

With the Tempest Gateway activated, you can confront the Storm King. Attack his glowing yellow weak points; he becomes more aggressive after each one is destroyed. Exploit his stuns to attack other weak points with powerful melee weapons.

The Storm King uses ranged and melee attacks. A glowing mouth indicates an impending laser; dodge left or right. He also summons meteors and throws rocks (their trajectories are predictable). If he raises his hands, he's about to slam the ground – move away to avoid the impact. A direct hit can quickly eliminate players.

Once all weak points are destroyed, his armor breaks, leaving him vulnerable. Maintain your assault, watch his attacks, and the Storm King will fall.
