Fortnite Introduces Darth Jar Jar in New Star Wars Battle Pass

Fortnite is gearing up for an epic crossover with Star Wars in its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2. This season promises a thrilling Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a five-part saga filled with surprises, including the much-anticipated arrival of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale. The exciting news was unveiled at Star Wars Celebration, along with teasers of additional Star Wars elements coming to the game, such as the new in-game ability, Force Lightning.

Further details confirmed during the celebration include Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader being featured in the Battle Pass. New offerings in the Item Shop will include Mace Windu, and players will have the exciting opportunity to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Expect themed map locations and much more to immerse you in the Star Wars universe.

The five-part saga will unfold weekly, each with a distinct theme:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a gripping in-game narrative live event, designed to make players feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
