Epic Games has once again delighted gamers with their latest offering in the free games program. The good news just keeps coming—Epic is now switching to a weekly release schedule, moving away from their previous monthly model. This week, you can snag two exciting titles for free from the Epic Games Store: Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist.
You have until March 27th to add Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist to your library at no cost. Epic Games is keeping the suspense alive by not revealing next week’s free games just yet.
Super Meat Boy Forever reintroduces the intense platforming action fans love, but with a twist—it's now an auto-runner. You'll still need to navigate through deadly sawblades and other hazards, but the game automatically moves your character forward. The challenge lies in timing your jumps and attacks perfectly. If you've played the original Super Meat Boy, you'll appreciate how this version maintains the essence of its precision-based gameplay, albeit in an auto-runner format. The game supports controllers, but the touch controls are also quite responsive if you prefer playing without one.
Eastern Exorcist, on the other hand, offers a more somber experience. This side-scrolling action RPG draws inspiration from Chinese and Japanese folklore, placing you in the role of an exorcist battling demons and supernatural beings. The game's hand-drawn art beautifully captures its eerie atmosphere, with striking character designs and captivating cut scenes that significantly enhance the overall experience. Both Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist are available for download from the Epic Games Store.
In addition to the free games, Epic Games is broadening its mobile game offerings. Recent additions to their mobile catalogue include Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, MR RACER: Premium, The Forest Quartet, and The WereCleaner, available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Exclusively for Android users, Epic has introduced several new titles: Bowling Clash, Endling – Extinction is Forever, Chicken Police – Paint it RED, One Hand Clapping, Neighbours Back From Hell, This is The Police, This is The Police 2, This is The President, and Through the Darkest of Times.
Before you go, don't miss out on our coverage of Alcyone: The Last City, an upcoming sci-fi visual novel that promises multiple endings and an engaging storyline.
