Epic Games Store Launches on Mobile with 20 New Games and Free Game Offer

After months of anticipation, Epic Games has finally launched its store on mobile devices, making the Epic Games Store available on Android worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, Epic is offering a range of exciting rewards, including free games and exclusive in-game content.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic Games is shining the spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys is now available for free download on mobile via the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and any of these games on your mobile, you can participate in in-game challenges to unlock exclusive cosmetics. For Fortnite, you can earn a complete outfit set, including matching back bling, a pickaxe, and a wrap, as well as a new bean costume for Fall Guys. Additional rewards include a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. These quests are exclusive to mobile users.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

In addition to their flagship titles, the Epic Games Store on mobile now features nearly 20 third-party games from various developers. Epic has also initiated a Free Games program for mobile users. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is available for free on both Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app until February 20th. Playdigious has further enriched the store's catalog by making Shapez and Evoland 2 available, with plans to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Additionally, Bloons TD 6 is set to join the store soon. While the free game offerings are monthly at the moment, Epic plans to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.

Despite challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic Games is making significant strides in enhancing gaming accessibility for a broader audience. What are your thoughts on this development? Share your opinions in the comments below.
