Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce a chilling collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.

A Collection of Nightmares

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his signature macabre style and unforgettable characters are invading the world of Dead by Daylight in what promises to be the ultimate horror crossover.

The collection features skins based on Ito's most celebrated works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with custom audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will become Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new skins.

Junji Ito himself was involved in the process, reacting with delight to seeing his creations brought to life in the Dead by Daylight game. In a video shared on the official Dead by Daylight X account, he expressed his satisfaction, noting how the characters had become even more terrifying in their video game incarnation. He even took part in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist in her Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, for Dead by Daylight on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly terrifying experience!
