While details about the new games in development are still under wraps, the devs expressed their enthusiasm, stating, "We have a lot of love for Dave and the characters, so we want to continue on with their journey."

During the AMA, MINTROCKET reassured fans that the focus is on the upcoming Story DLC and quality-of-life updates. They promised, "New content will definitely keep on coming," and more information about the new story content will be shared soon. Additionally, a separate team within the studio is preparing for a new game, although it's still in the early stages, leaving fans eager for future announcements.

*Dave the Diver* has also become known for its exciting collaborations, previously partnering with high-profile titles like the Godzilla franchise and Goddess of Victory: Nikke. The "Dave & Friends" update, released on August 27, allowed players to enjoy Balatro within the game. The devs shared their collaborative process with Shift Up, emphasizing their mutual effort and enthusiasm. "NIKKE reached out to us first, but we have a lot of NIKKE fans on the team. We actively shared our ideas and feedback and the NIKKE team worked really hard on the collab as well, and we were able to create fun content!"

Jaeho, the game's director, shared a light-hearted story about reaching out to the Dredge team via Discord, sparking initial skepticism about his identity.
