TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to seamlessly integrate the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, creating a highly replayable monster-catching experience. The Steam page boasts 10 dynamically changing biomes, 7 unique playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how the mobile version of Coromon: Rogue Planet performs and whether it launches simultaneously with the Switch and Steam releases. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short, engaging play sessions. Until Coromon: Rogue Planet arrives, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
