Concord's Content Roadmap: No Battle Pass Required

Concord Season 1 Launches October 2024Launching on August 23rd for PS5 and PC, Concord will receive continuous updates starting on day one. Unlike many hero shooters, Concord will not feature a traditional battle pass. Instead, Firewalk Studios aims to provide a rewarding experience through gameplay progression, character leveling, and job completion, yielding meaningful rewards from the outset.

Season 1: The Tempest (October 2024)

Concord Season 1 Launches October 2024Concord's first major update, "The Tempest," arrives in October, bringing:

  • A new playable Freegunner character.
  • A brand-new map.
  • Additional Freegunner Variants.
  • New cosmetics and rewards.
  • Weekly Cinematic Vignettes expanding the Northstar crew's story.
  • An in-game store offering purely cosmetic items with no gameplay impact.

Season 2 and Beyond

Season 2 is planned for January 2025, with Firewalk Studios committed to regular seasonal content drops throughout Concord's first year.

Gameplay Strategies and the Crew Builder System

Concord Season 1 Launches October 2024Concord's unique "Crew Builder" system allows for team customization. While each Custom Crew comprises five Freegunners, players can use up to three copies of any Freegunner Variant. This allows for strategic team composition based on playstyle and match challenges.

Unlike traditional shooter roles, Concord's Freegunners are designed for high DPS and effective gunfights. The six roles (Anchor, Breacher, Haunt, Ranger, Tactician, and Warden) are defined by their impact on the match, such as area control, long-range advantage, and flanking. Balancing roles unlocks Crew Bonuses, boosting mobility, recoil, cooldowns, and more.
