How to Complete Canker in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

"Canker," an early side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, requires completion of "The Jaunt" to unlock. This quest offers a mace and Groschen, making it worthwhile. Here's a guide to completing it:

Initiating the "Canker" Quest:

Speak with Gules in Semine. This is easily done during Lord Semine and Agnes' wedding, while he's drinking. Alternatively, find him on patrol in Semine. Inquire about his former bandit gang and offer your assistance in eliminating them. Canker is your first target.

Locating and Eliminating Canker:

The quest marker places Canker north of Nebakov Mill. Be wary of ambushes along the path. Stealth, combat, or fleeing are all viable options for dealing with these bandits.

Canker's camp is nestled in the mountains, easily missed due to a narrow passage. Prepare for combat before entering, as several bandits, including Canker, will be present. Some bandits might flee depending on kill order, but ensure you eliminate most, as Canker himself won't run.

Quest Completion:

Loot Canker's body for the Light Mace (though feel free to take other items). Return to Gules to complete the quest.

A full in-game day must pass before the next quest in this chain, "Handsome Charlie," becomes available. Speak to Gules again after this delay.
