IGN's interactive map for Assassin's Creed Shadows is now live, serving as your ultimate guide to exploring the nine provinces of feudal Japan. This comprehensive tool meticulously tracks every Collectible, Activity, Main Quest, and Side Quest you'll encounter on your journey.

In a departure from previous Assassin's Creed games, AC Shadows does not automatically clear the fog of war when you activate Viewpoints. Instead, you must manually uncover the locations of Landmarks, Collectibles, Activities, and Quests. Fortunately, IGN's AC Shadows interactive map is here to assist, featuring thousands of map points meticulously plotted to aid your exploration of Japan.

IGN's Assassin's Creed Shadows interactive map is equipped with filters to help you navigate the vast world efficiently. Here's what you can filter:

  • Collectibles: Legendary Chests, Origami Butterflies, Jizo Statues, Legendary Sumi-e, Valuable Objects, Kano Paintings, Kamon Crests, Cultural Discovery.
  • Activities: Kofuns, Shrines, Temple Lost Pages, Kuji-kiri, Kata, Horse Archery, and Hidden Trails.
  • Locations: Castles, Viewpoints, Kakuregas, Landmarks, and Hostile Landmarks.
  • Services: Gear Vendors, Ornament Vendors, and Port Traders.
  • Quests: Main Story Quests, Side Quests, and Contract Targets.
  • Other notable map markers include Keys, Samurai Daisho locations, common resource and gear chests, and Stockpiles.

To customize your map view, use the filter options located on the left-hand side of the interactive map. Here, you can easily toggle filters on and off, tailoring the map to display only the categories most relevant to your playthrough.

Additionally, clicking on map icons will provide you with detailed instructions for finding items and a convenient checkbox system to track what you've collected and completed.
