After more than a month since its release, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) continues to evolve, thanks to Ubisoft's commitment to enriching the game. On May 1, Ubisoft took to Twitter (X) to announce their year 1 post-launch roadmap, packed with fresh story and gameplay content.

One of the most exciting features is the introduction of new Story Drops. These free content additions will enhance your gaming experience with new quests, player abilities, allies, world activities, and deeper narratives that flesh out the backstories of your favorite characters. Each piece of content is designed to expand on the main game, offering a richer and more immersive world to explore.

In addition to the free updates, fans can look forward to the first expansion, "The Claws of Awaji," set to release later this year. This DLC will transport players to the island of Awaji, a new region to explore post-epilogue of the base game. Expect to encounter new enemies, master new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
