Get ready for an enchanting mobile experience as Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom prepares to launch on Android devices on January 25th, 2025. Shatterproof Games has already opened pre-registration for this delightful perspective puzzle game, seven months following its initial release on Steam.
In Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom, you step into the shoes of Aarik, a charming young prince facing a dire situation. His kingdom lies in ruins, and his father is trapped in a magical slumber. It's up to Aarik, armed with his wit and a magical crown, to restore order. Rather than relying on combat, Aarik uses his intelligence to navigate through challenges by solving intricate puzzles.
The core gameplay revolves around manipulating perspectives to repair broken paths, restore ancient ruins, and prevent further collapse of the kingdom. With over 90 puzzles scattered across 35 levels, players will find themselves twisting, turning, and rearranging the environment to align everything perfectly.
As you progress, Aarik's crown gains new abilities, such as reversing time or revealing hidden pathways. You'll also encounter friendly creatures that assist in your quest. Get a sneak peek of the game with this trailer:
Visually, Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom echoes the style of the beloved game Monument Valley. The game boasts vibrant, diverse landscapes ranging from mystical forests to frozen tundras and eerie swamps, all wrapped in a relaxing, storybook charm reminiscent of a fairy tale.
Pre-registration is now open on the Google Play Store. The full game will be available for $2.99 upon release, but eager players can dive into the first eight levels for free, offering a taste of what's to come.
