Weeks after dropping the first trailer for its mobile release, 9th Dawn Remake is now available on Android, revitalizing the classic dungeon crawler RPG with a vast world to explore.
The new version, a rebuild of the original 9th Dawn from 2012 by Valorware, is packed with new content, larger dungeons, and a host of additional features. The narrative begins with the mysterious disappearance of a lighthouse keeper, evolving into a darker tale of an evil force spreading across Montelorne.
Your journey will lead you to confront the Castle of Maltyr, a stronghold filled with some of the continent's most formidable monsters. As you progress, you'll gather gear, level up, and raise monster pets from eggs to fight alongside you.
The game is filled with loot to collect. You'll gather equipment and fill out your journal for rewards while navigating over 45 handcrafted dungeons. In 9th Dawn Remake Mobile, you have the freedom to design your character build, unlock spells, and allocate attribute points. Additionally, there's a comprehensive system for forging weapons, brewing potions, and upgrading gear.
The game also offers a variety of minigames, including a deep deck-building card game and a unique fishing mode where you command worm-warriors in battle. Side quests, such as aiding the villagers of Montelorne, unlock rare items and contribute to the region's prosperity.
A free demo is available for those who want to try it out before committing. To enjoy achievements, cloud saves, and online play, you'll need Google Play Games.
In multiplayer mode, you can team up with another player using a private room code. For local co-op, remember you'll need an additional controller. Single-player mode is fully functional offline as well.
You can download 9th Dawn Remake for mobile from the Google Play Store.
