World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!

Get ready for a Timewalking marathon! World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking campaigns until February 24th. This extended event provides players with ample opportunities to earn exciting rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a significant experience boost.

This event builds upon the successful five-week Turbulent Timeways event from September 2023. Players once again have the chance to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, granting a 20% experience increase after completing four Timewalking dungeons. However, this time around, the rewards are even more substantial.

Seven Weeks of Timewalking Adventures:

The event spans seven weeks, each featuring a different Timewalking expansion, starting with Mists of Pandaria (January 7th) and concluding with Cataclysm (February 18th). The full schedule is as follows:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Rewards and Achievements:

Complete the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest for a Cache of Nerubian Treasures, now rewarding Heroic-level gear during the event. Timewalking vendors across all expansions feature permanent additions, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously available only during the initial Turbulent Timeways event, also makes a return.

Achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks to unlock the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement and claim the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

Looking Ahead:

The conclusion of Turbulent Timeways on February 24th hints at World of Warcraft's future plans. Considering the usual eight-week release cycle and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the launch of Patch 11.1, "Undermined." With Turbulent Timeways, the second run of Plunderstorm (January 14th - February 17th), and The War Within's upcoming major content update, World of Warcraft is poised for an action-packed start to 2025.
