Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert's Fate in RuneScape's Pharaoh’s Folly Quest

RuneScape recently released a Dev’s Diary for April, bringing all the details about the latest update titled "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This exciting new quest debuts today and runs until April 28th. Players must navigate the perilous Shifting Tombs and alter the desert's destiny alongside Leela and Ozan.

Unveiling the Secrets of Pharaoh’s Folly

Tensions are escalating in the Kharidian desert as Menaphos teeters on the brink of collapse. Osman’s betrayal has set off a chain reaction, leaving the city vulnerable to internal strife. Amascut’s influence looms large, casting a dark shadow over the region. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is merely the start of the challenges ahead.

Fear not, however, as you won’t face these trials alone. Leela joins forces with players, along with new companions and even a few pets. Together, you’ll delve into the ancient mysteries of Menaphos, seeking answers about Osman’s true intentions.

A Journey Through the Sands

Successfully completing "Pharaoh’s Folly" rewards players with substantial Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a unique bracelet known as Leela’s Favour. This bracelet grants teleportation access to all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

To embark on this quest, players will need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the initial quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and progress through specific tasks within the "Do No Evil" quest at Phite Club. Additionally, players must construct relevant structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once these prerequisites are met, players can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and strive to save the city from its impending doom.
