What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?

Originally released in Japan on the PlayStation in 1995, with its sequel following in 1998, Suikoden I & II captured the hearts of gamers worldwide a year later. Each game challenges you to recruit 108 warriors to your cause, building an army to combat the forces of evil.

This remaster preserves the charm of the original pixelated graphics while ensuring they look fantastic on modern wide-screen displays. Spell effects have been enhanced for smoother visuals, and character portraits have been redrawn in high definition. Alongside these visual upgrades, the game introduces quality-of-life features such as the ability to speed up battles, an auto-battle mode, auto-save functionality, and a conversation log to prevent missing out on important dialogue. The user interface has also been revamped for ease of use, particularly when changing equipment.
