Launched on March 6 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, the game has quickly solidified its position as another triumph for the studio. Hazelight expressed their gratitude on social media, stating they are "blown away" by the overwhelming support from both new and returning fans.

Just 48 hours after its debut, Split Fiction had already attracted 1 million players eager to dive into the sci-fi narrative of protagonists Mio and Zoe. This rapid uptake indicates that another million copies were sold in the subsequent five days, showcasing the game's strong appeal and market reception.

As a cooperative game, Split Fiction likely engages far more players than the number of units sold, thanks to its innovative Friend's Pass feature.
