Capcom is ramping up anticipation for Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). On August 12, both Resident Evil and Capcom USA confirmed via Twitter that the game's first playable demo will debut at PAX WEST 2025. The event runs from August 19 to September 1 at the Seattle Convention Center.
Additionally, a CAPCOM Presents panel is scheduled for August 31 at 2 PM in the Main Theatre, where the development team will share deeper insights into the project. Attendees can also get hands-on with other upcoming Capcom titles, including Onimusha: Way of the Sword and PRAGMATA.
Prior to its PAX WEST playable debut, RE9 will be featured at Gamescom 2025. On August 12, host Geoff Keighley announced that the game will be highlighted during the Gamescom Opening Night Live broadcast on August 19, starting at 8 PM CEST / 7 PM BST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT.
