For years, the ongoing console debates and the allure of exclusive titles have fueled countless discussions among gamers. Among the most hotly contested comparisons is which racing franchise reigns supreme: Forza from Xbox or Gran Turismo from PlayStation? Due to financial constraints, many players were once limited to just one console—leaving the ultimate question unanswered. But now, the gaming landscape is shifting.
Forza Horizon 5 is making its way to the PS5. The official announcement came via social media, complete with a listing on the PlayStation Store. Gamers won’t have to wait too long either, as the release is slated for Spring 2025—although an exact launch date has yet to be revealed.
The porting work is being handled by Panic Button, with full support provided by Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. In terms of content, the PS5 version will match the quality and features of its counterparts across other platforms, and it will support cross-platform play.
In addition to the console release, a new free content update titled Horizon Realms is in development for all platforms. This update will allow players to revisit beloved locations from Evolving Worlds, enhanced with new surprises that will keep the Forza Horizon experience fresh and exciting for all fans.
