Pokémon Go's CD Pokémon Unite for Year-End Catch Event

Niantic is launching a final, major Catch-a-thon event in Pokémon Go to cap off 2024! This event provides a second chance to catch Community Day Pokémon and earn exclusive rewards, including Shiny variants.

The Catch-a-thon takes place on Saturday, December 21st, and Sunday, December 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Featured Pokémon include:

• December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
• December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.

During the final ten minutes of each hour, players can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also boasts 2x XP for catching Pokémon and 2x Stardust, alongside numerous other rewards.

This year-end event is a significant send-off, especially considering major updates like the introduction of Gigantamax. While the timing might seem close to the holidays, dedicated Pokémon Go players are sure to appreciate this final opportunity for community engagement.
