Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Infernalist

Currently a top performer, the Infernalist Witch commands a devastating arsenal of fire spells. Summoning fans will appreciate the Infernal Hound, a fiery companion straight from the underworld! Transform into a demonic beast for increased damage and mobility (at the cost of increased health vulnerability). The Loyal Hellhound skill is key to demonic form survivability, while Beidat's Will links Spirit to maximum HP, requiring investment in both Strength and HP for a powerful undead army.

Blood Mage

While not as dominant as the Infernalist, the Blood Mage offers a thrilling, high-risk, high-reward playstyle centered around Sanguimancy, which replaces Mana with Health. Skills like Vitality Siphon and Life Remnants drain enemy health, while Sunder the Flesh enhances critical hit buffs and Gore Spike boosts critical strike damage.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Stormweaver

The Stormweaver Sorcerer unleashes devastating elemental damage, often with high critical hit chances, triggering Elemental Storm via Tempest Caller. Inflicting status ailments is key, enhanced by Strike Twice. Spirit Gems amplify elemental damage against afflicted enemies. Constant Gale and Force of Will improve spell casting speed and Mana regeneration, while Heart of the Storm converts Elemental Damage into Energy Shield for increased survivability.

Chronomancer

A unique addition to PoE2, the Chronomancer manipulates time, offering innovative combat options. Spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze create exciting combo potential. While not currently the strongest Sorcerer Ascendancy, it possesses significant potential. Now and Again avoids skill cooldowns, Apex of the Moment slows enemies, and Quicksand Hourglass speeds up spell casting.

Warrior Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Warbringer

The Warbringer combines war cries with totem summons for devastating melee combat, effective even against bosses. Imploding Impacts and Anvil’s Weight enhance armor penetration, while Warcaller’s Bellow causes enemy corpses to explode. Greatwolf’s Howl removes Warcry cooldowns. Renly’s Training and Turtle Charm bolster defensive capabilities.

Titan

For a more controlled, less risky approach, the Titan utilizes powerful, slow attacks to paralyze enemies. Stone Skin increases armor, Mysterious Lineage boosts maximum HP, and Surprising Strength increases damage against stunned foes. Earthbreaker and Ancestral Empowerment enhance Slam abilities.

Invoker

The Invoker Monk harnesses elemental power for potent melee attacks and status effects. Power Charges further enhance skills.

Acolyte of Chayula

The Acolyte of Chayula embraces Darkness, foregoing Spirit for increased Darkness and survivability. Consuming Questions and Mana Leech create a risky, high-reward playstyle (currently less efficient due to MP drain limitations).

Witchhunter

A top-tier class, the Witchhunter excels at eliminating demons and undead. Increased damage on first and last hits, combined with passive skills like Pitiless Killer, Damage vs Low Life Enemies, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner, makes it highly effective. Witchbane and No Mercy focus on reducing enemy concentration and increasing damage. Zealous Inquisition causes slain enemies to explode.

Gemling Legionnaire

The Gemling Legionnaire’s gameplay revolves around gems, impacting resistances (Thaumaturgical Infusion), skill levels (Crystalline Potential and Implanted Gems), skill costs and attribute requirements (Advanced Thaumaturgy and Adaptive Capability), and active skill slots (Integrated Efficiency). Gem Studded allows using two identical Support Gems.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Deadeye

The Deadeye Ranger favors ranged combat, increasing attack range and damage. Endless Munitions adds projectiles, ideal for clearing large groups of enemies. This class is excellent for bow users focusing on elemental damage.

Pathfinder

The Pathfinder specializes in poison, dealing double damage with Overwhelming Toxicity (which shortens poison duration). High movement speed and slow resistance combined with gas grenades make for efficient area control.
