Nekopara Sekai Connect Android Pre-Registers Open

First unveiled at Comiket this past December, the newest Nekopara title is on its way to fans. Nekopara Sekai Connect is now accepting pre-registrations for both mobile and PC platforms. This latest entry signifies a fresh chapter for the beloved franchise.

It retains the iconic art style of the original creator, Sayori, who is returning as both writer and illustrator. Development is handled by Neko Works, with publishing duties taken on by Good Smile Company.

What’s New?

This installment, however, introduces a significant gameplay evolution. Sekai Connect merges a visual novel experience with a comprehensive social game. Players will engage in semi-automated battles, operate a shop in sandbox mode, and enjoy rhythm game sections set to original songs and music videos.

The story unfolds in a near-future society where AI-generated Nekos coexist with humanity. These catgirls appear mostly human but possess distinct feline traits. You are the proprietor of La Soleil, a patisserie that will be instantly recognizable to series veterans.

Your adventure begins when you receive an invitation to the Neko Festival, a worldwide contest where Nekos and their partners vie to be crowned the most adored. The grand prize? A single wish granted by the very AI that brought the Nekos to life.

Nekopara Sekai Connect features a diverse international cast. The game introduces five distinct schools, each with its own new characters: Yuzuha from Sakuragaoka Neko Gakuen; Quince and Gertrude from Kinka Neko Science Academy; Sable and Canelé from Neko Gakuin; Palmyra from Bastet Neko Graduate School; and Donut from Nekos Youth Academy.

For those wishing to relive past adventures, the original series is also getting a revival. Volumes 0 through 4, plus the Extra installment, will be re-released as part of the Nekopara Love Project. These updated versions will include brand-new episodes, music, and voice acting.
