Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10 Years with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating a major milestone—its 10th anniversary! Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios are pulling out all the stops with a massive update dropping on March 25th. This celebration brings a wave of new content, including fresh fighters, an overhauled Faction Wars system, a brand-new challenge tower, and a mountain of anniversary-exclusive rewards.

Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!

The centerpiece of this update is the arrival of MK1 Geras, a powerful diamond-tier fighter. As one of the most versatile combatants in Mortal Kombat lore, Geras wields abilities like power absorption, self-healing, and damage reflection. To add him to your roster, you'll need to dive into Realm Klash rewards or progress through the Kombat Pass.

Joining him is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter capable of reaching full ascension at Level 5. She’s no slouch in battle, packing unblockable attacks, a unique Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. You can unlock her via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or earn her gradually through the standard version.

Faction Wars is getting a complete overhaul and reemerging as Realm Klash. Instead of just battling for Blood Rubies, players now choose from five distinct realms and compete over two-week seasons to accumulate Realm Points. The update also introduces three new ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God, giving players even more to strive for.

Blood Ruby Packs have been refreshed with new Kameo options and MK1 Geras-themed rewards. Plus, Realm Klash now features visual enhancements, updated banners, improved leaderboards, and fixes for previously exploited mechanics.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The Tower of Time returns with a limited-time twist—a condensed 50-floor gauntlet packed with intense challenges. Along the way, you’ll uncover seven brand-new Tower of Time equipment pieces. MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras each receive exclusive Brutality equipment sets, making the climb even more rewarding.

A new Fusion Boost modifier helps balance your team by boosting the lowest fused card during battles. In addition to the new tower, fan-favorites like the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are back for more action-packed gameplay.

To mark the occasion, players will be treated to special gifts starting April 1st. For 10 consecutive days, you'll receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo—no strings attached. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension, adding more depth to your squad-building strategy.
