Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has earned an M for Mature rating from the ESRB, confirming that the developers have faithfully recreated the original experience, including a bold feature. The ESRB summary reveals the return of the Peep Demo Theater, a notable inclusion in this remake.

The Peep Demo Theater, seen in the Subsistence and HD Collection editions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can freely control the camera, zooming in on any part of her body. Unlocking this mode requires collecting all cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which demands four full playthroughs of the game.

The Mature rating aligns with the game’s premise, where players embody an elite soldier navigating enemy territory, facing intense violence and gore. However, the return of the provocative Peep Demo Theater has caught fans off guard, given its controversial and mature content.

Streamlined Camouflage Switching

MGS Delta introduces a faster camouflage-switching system, a significant quality-of-life improvement. On March 28, METAL GEAR OFFICIAL shared a video on Twitter (X) showcasing this upgrade, stating, “Switch face and uniform camo instantly with this enhanced feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER.”

The footage demonstrates players changing camo in under three seconds, a stark contrast to the original game’s clunky process. In Metal Gear Solid 3, swapping camouflage required pausing, navigating menus, and selecting options, which disrupted gameplay flow, especially during stealth moments. This update boosts immersion and streamlines the experience.
