Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline
Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing unique combat abilities. While Gallica is present from the start, her combat role is limited initially.
Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the exact days each party member joins your team. Proceed with caution if you wish to avoid spoilers.
Each party member's arrival is tied to specific story events. Note that some later recruits may be unexpected.
Party Member Recruitment Schedule:
Each party member awakens to their Archetype, a power usable by any party member. Early recruits may be initially AI-controlled before awakening. Later members typically awaken just before their first combat appearance.
Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events, but awakens to his Archetype the following day, June 6th, in the Nord Mines. Until then, he's AI-controlled.
Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes a full party member on June 6th, after Strohl's awakening. Grius doesn't undergo the same awakening process as others.
Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting with the party on June 10th, fully joining and awakening her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.
Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party recruitment occurs on July 4th within Martira's main dungeon during a largely linear story segment.
Junah (Masked Dancer): Joins the party after her awakening on August 13th.
Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment is more flexible. Complete the Dragon Temple Dungeon anytime between August 19th and September 4th during your Viraga Island free time to recruit her for the final boss. Her Bond, however, can only be initiated after this period.
Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins during the Saint's Day events on September 11th. He becomes usable in combat the following day, if desired.
This comprehensive timeline ensures you're prepared for each new addition to your party and their unique contributions to your journey in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
