Mackenyu, renowned for his portrayal of Roronoa Zoro in Netflix's adaptation of the beloved anime "One Piece," is set to join the cast of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This upcoming installment in Ubisoft's iconic RPG series will transport players to the rich historical setting of Feudal Japan.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Mackenyu will voice the character Gennojo in both Japanese and English. Ubisoft describes Gennojo as a central figure who aids the protagonist in tracking and eliminating a vital target.

Ubisoft elaborates on Gennojo's personality, stating, "Gennojo is a charming, reckless, and deeply conflicted figure, driven by guilt to dismantle a corrupt system.
