Honkai Impact 3rd to launch version 8.0 In Search of the Sun this month

Honkai Impact 3rd kicks off the new year with a scorching update: "In Search of the Sun," arriving January 9th! This update brings a wealth of new content, starting with Durandal's exciting new battlesuit, Reign Solaris.

Reign Solaris is an IMG-type Physical DMG dealer, showcasing a more agile and nimble Durandal. Players can switch between two modes: Rampager for powerful, charged attacks, and Skyrider for swift battlefield maneuvers. Durandal's signature weapons, Valorous Effulgence and its PRI-ARM, Valorous Effulgence: New Voyage, will also be available.

The storyline expands with "Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes," continuing the Dreamseeker and her companion's investigation in the Mars system, delving deeper into the Ten Shus war. Expect thrilling action and emotional depth, complemented by the new "On-Duty Work Guide" minigame, a 3D puzzle challenge featuring Cube-ianka.

Beyond the main story, players can earn up to 60,000,000 Crystals by completing story chapters (from a shared pool – so act fast!). The featured event, "Countdown: To Sweet Dreams," offers a more relaxed experience, featuring familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, and Fu Hua, a bizarre new boss, and a unique monster-trainer-style command system.
