Hayden Christensen Returns as Anakin in Ahsoka S2

Star Wars Celebration just confirmed that Hayden Christensen will reprise his iconic role as Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka Season 2. While details about Anakin's involvement remain under wraps, fans can rejoice that Ahsoka's journey with her former master continues.

Christensen appeared during the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration, reflecting on his return to the legendary character. "It was a dream come true," he shared. "Exploring the World Between Worlds through their brilliant concept was incredibly exciting."

Series creator Dave Filoni humorously admitted, "I literally had to invent new dimensions just to create another opportunity to work with Hayden as Anakin again."

The actor revealed deep discussions about expanding Anakin's Clone Wars-era story: "While these stories existed in animation, bringing them to live-action was thrilling. And while I love the classic Jedi robes, seeing Anakin with a fresh look was particularly exciting."

During the panel, Filoni emphasized how their shared experience working with George Lucas helped shape Anakin's return. This collaboration allowed them to combine their knowledge and craft a fully realized version of the character.

Christensen added, "George's voice still echoes in my mind - 'faster, more intense!' That energy always informs my performance."
