While CEO Strauss Zelnick acknowledged the inherent risk of delays ("slippage"), he expressed strong optimism about the timeline. He emphasized Rockstar's dedication to quality, highlighting their commitment to excellence.

Take-Two's 2025 Game Lineup

Zelnick highlighted 2025 as a pivotal year for Take-Two, with several major releases planned: Sid Meier’s Civilization VII (Early Access launched, full release February 11th), Mafia: The Old Country (Summer release), Grand Theft Auto VI (Fall release), and Borderlands 4 (before year-end). He expressed strong confidence in the commercial potential of these titles.

Addressing persistent rumors, Steven Ogg (Trevor Phillips in GTA 5) clarified that he doesn't dislike his character. He simply prefers not to be called Trevor outside of his professional work. He maintains friendships with the actors who played Franklin and Michael. While he previously speculated about Trevor's potential (and demise) in GTA 6, he currently has no involvement in the project.
