The long-running anime-inspired pirate adventure, Grand Piece Online, is welcoming February with a fresh mini update packed with new content and balance improvements for Roblox players. While not as expansive as a full-scale release, this update brings exciting additions like the new Turtleback Cave island, the Kira fruit, and various quality-of-life updates to keep the gameplay experience engaging and well-balanced.

Published by developer Grand Quest Games, the patch notes outline several key features introduced in this compact yet meaningful update. Though it’s considered a smaller update compared to major releases, it delivers solid enhancements such as new exploration opportunities, updated crew mechanics, and significant balancing changes across characters and game modes.

Turtleback Cave Island & Boss Encounter

Turtleback Cave is now accessible in the Second Sea, located north of the Rose Kingdom. This newly added island introduces an exciting boss battle against Juzo the Diamondback. Players who manage to defeat him will be rewarded with the Turtleback Armor and Turtleback Helmet. Additionally, each kill offers a 5% chance to drop the Kira fruit and a much rarer chance to obtain a Mythical Fruit Chest. The boss respawns every 15 minutes, giving multiple chances for crews to take him down and reap the rewards.

New Additions & Crew Shop Enhancements

The update also includes a new player list feature that displays both crew names and player display names more clearly. On the crew system front, there are now five additional items available in the crew shop, bringing the total number of slots from four to eight. The mythical drop rate has been increased, and both current and previously rotated-out Battle Pass outfits can now be purchased directly through the crew shop.

Gameplay Balance Changes

The balance adjustments in this update aim to improve competitive fairness and overall gameplay flow. Arena Storm has been removed and replaced with a Countdown System, where winners are determined based on damage dealt and remaining stocks at the end of the match—each stock counting as 10,000 damage.

Character Adjustments:

  • Tori: Full Form Mode requirement set to 100%, drains twice as fast in Arena/BR. Phoenix Pyreapple cancellable on stun in base form. Triple Talon Kick no longer locks movement. Burn damage removed from M1s, with slight scaling increases.
  • Pteranodon: Increased out-of-combat speed, reduced combat flight speed. Hitbox adjusted to match Tori's scale. Full Form Mode changes mirror those of Tori.
  • Buddha: Full Form Mode requirement at 100%, bar drains faster. Spine Breaker endlag increased by 20%.
  • Venom: Full Form Mode set to 100%. Venom Aura cancellable on perfect block.
  • Yuki: Fixed Snow Gust functionality on Factory Core.
  • Gold: Knockback removed from Golden Touch.
  • Zushi: Gravity Dominance startup increased by 15%, Meteor Strike startup reduced by 20%.
  • Mochi V2: Improved movement speed during Spiked Donut Roll when not in combat, with increased hit knockback.
  • Snowcap Scepter: Scepter Snowball now fires three projectiles before cooldown.
  • Inferno Rocket Blade: Explosive Field startup time reduced by 30%, with slightly increased stun effect.
  • Abyssal Karate: Diving Tides cooldown extended from 16 to 19 seconds.
  • 3 Sword Style: M1 scaling reduced by 30% for better balance.

A Continued Journey into 2025
