For over a century, Disney has been creating unforgettable animated classics that have entertained generations. Since November 2019, all of these films and projects owned by Disney can be streamed on any device with a Disney+ subscription.
Like many modern streaming services, a free trial is often available for a limited time. However, Disney+ currently does not offer any free trials for new subscribers. The company was among the first streaming platforms to remove this option, discontinuing free trials in 2020. According to the Disney+ help center, no free trials are available at this time.
While Disney+ doesn’t provide a direct free trial, Verizon offers eligible Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate customers a complimentary Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle as a myPlan perk for six months. After this period, subscribers will need to pay $10 per month to continue the service. This is an excellent opportunity for existing Verizon customers to maximize their benefits, similar to Hulu’s multi-service streaming bundles.
Another workaround for the absence of a Disney+ free trial is signing up for a Hulu + Live TV free trial, which includes Disney+ access. Although this trial lasts only three days, it’s a great option for testing the service over a weekend.

$16.99/month with ads, $29.99/month without ads. See it at Max
Although it doesn’t remove subscription fees entirely, bundling your favorite services is a budget-friendly way to manage costs. The new Disney+ bundle with Max and Hulu starts at $16.99 per month, while the Disney+ and Hulu bundle begins at $10.99 per month. If you already subscribe to Hulu or Max, these bundles are likely the most affordable way to add Disney+ to your lineup.
Although free streaming trials are becoming less common, a few streaming services still offer them for a limited period. Below are some of the top Disney+ alternatives with free trial options.
