Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch

Garena is bringing the tactical first-person shooter, Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops), to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025. Originally developed by NovaLogic and later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), the game is now being launched in partnership with Garena.

Cross-progression between PC and mobile will be a key feature. The 2025 mobile and PC launch will initially cover Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

What Awaits in Garena's Delta Force?

Delta Force offers two distinct gameplay modes:

• Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
• Operations: A three-person extraction shooter mode featuring high-stakes missions, loot scavenging, enemy encounters, and a race against the clock to reach extraction points. Players can loot enemies and utilize acquired items in future matches or exchange them for in-game currency. The mode also includes bosses, restricted areas, and special missions. A rare item, the MandelBrick, grants exclusive skins but reveals the player's location to other players.

A Nod to the Past?

Garena and TiMi's Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and maintains the tactical depth characteristic of the original 1998 release, promising a nostalgic experience for veteran players. Further details can be found on the official website.
