Starting this week, Dell has a special offer on the Tower Plus gaming PC featuring a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card, available for just $1,649.99 with complimentary shipping. Designed to handle games smoothly at up to 4K resolution, this system is a much more affordable alternative to an RTX 5070 Ti prebuilt, which typically costs over $2,000 regardless of where you shop.

Price: $1,649.99 at Dell
This Dell Tower Plus model comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor, a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz memory, and a 1TB M.2 solid-state drive. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265 CPU can reach a maximum turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, offers 20 cores, and includes a 36MB cache. For an extra $100, you can select the faster Ultra 7 265K version, which also upgrades your cooling from the standard option to an advanced air cooling solution with a more capable tower heatsink and fan. We recommend skipping the Core i9 CPU upgrade, as gaming performance is generally determined by the GPU, especially at higher resolutions. A 750W 80PLUS Platinum power supply delivers reliable energy to the entire setup.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super delivers excellent gaming performance across various resolutions, from 1080p up to 4K. At 1080p and 1440p, it can easily push frame rates to 144fps or above in most titles, making it ideal for high-refresh-rate FHD or QHD monitors. Although 4K gaming is more demanding, you can still expect a stable 60fps in most games. When compared to the latest Blackwell GPUs, the RTX 4070 Ti Super outperforms the RTX 5070 and is only about 10–15% slower than the RTX 5070 Ti. It also matches the RTX 5070 Ti and 5080 in VRAM capacity, though it uses the previous-generation GDDR6 memory instead of newer GDDR7.
Even though the new RTX 5070 Ti may offer slightly better speed, a prebuilt gaming PC with an RTX 5070 Ti will cost you several hundred dollars more than this deal. At the moment, the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on Amazon is priced above $2,000, meaning you'd have to spend an extra $500 or more for only about a 10% boost in performance.
