Mark your calendars — Death Stranding 2 arrives exclusively on PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025. Players who opt for either the Digital Deluxe or Collector's Edition gain special early access starting June 24.

The 10-minute cinematic showcase reveals stunning visuals, key gameplay sequences, and introduces a mysterious new character bearing striking resemblance to Metal Gear's iconic Solid Snake.

Played by acclaimed Italian actor Luca Marinelli, the trenchcoat-clad Neil sports signature Snake elements including tactical gear and a distinctive bandana. The footage shows him leading a squad of unsettling soldiers while wielding advanced weaponry.

The trailer further delights Metal Gear veterans with the introduction of the mysterious Magellan Man — a towering tar-encased mech reminiscent of Metal Gear Rex. This formidable unit battles nightmarish tar monsters in what appears to be colossal Pacific Rim-style combat sequences.

Pricing details were also confirmed: $69.99 for the Standard Edition, $79.99 for Digital Deluxe, while collectors can pre-order the premium $229.99 Collector's Edition starting March 17.
