Dark Dome's ninth title has arrived. Following acclaimed escape and mystery adventures like The Girl in the Window, Beyond the Room, and Escape from the Shadows, the studio unveils its latest enigma. Hidden Memories immerses you in a tense, surreal experience.
The game launched for Android in late March. It retains Dark Dome's signature point-and-click escape room mechanics, but introduces a deeper psychological narrative. You'll also spot subtle cameos connecting it to the broader Dark Dome universe.
Lucian awakens with amnesia in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by cryptic puzzles. Your task is to reconstruct a mind shattered by something far more sinister than mere memory loss.
As Lucian pieces together the forgotten events of that fateful night, fragmented memories slowly return. A mysterious girl appears repeatedly in these visions. She could be the secret to his escape—or the very cause of his imprisonment.
The story unfolds in Hidden Town, a labyrinth of guilt, hidden truths, and unsettling encounters. Fans will instantly recognize the atmospheric setting from previous Dark Dome games.
Gameplay focuses on exploration and logical deduction: tap to investigate, search for clues, and combine items. Some puzzles require creative thinking. For instance, a firework rocket gains new utility when paired with adhesive tape. A brush dipped in ink and a small foosball table piece can craft a makeshift prosthetic eye.

Keep an eye out for 10 hidden shadows throughout your journey. These spectral figures only appear if you scrutinize the background details carefully.
You'll also find voodoo dolls representing trapped souls. Each doll unlocks a brief mini-game revealing its owner's final moments and secrets. Freeing these spirits sometimes requires simply witnessing their stories, while other times you must solve a lingering puzzle.
The game features several callbacks to earlier titles. Delian makes a return appearance, and Dr. Freyer is mentioned on an ID card. The four-armed statue from the catacombs in Escape from the Shadows reappears, and the medallion from the picture puzzle echoes an item from Nowhere House.
