Firaxis Games Unveils Post-Launch Roadmap for Civilization VII

Firaxis Games detailed its post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII during a recent livestream. The plan includes substantial updates throughout 2025, encompassing both paid DLC and free content updates.

The paid DLC will arrive in two collections. The "Crossroads of the World Collection" is a two-part release. Part one (early March) features Leader Ada Lovelace, four Natural Wonders, and the Carthage and Great Britain civilizations. Part two (late March) includes Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations. Free content, including new Natural Wonder events and Wonders themselves (Battle event and Bermuda Triangle in early March; Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest in late March), is also scheduled for March.

Further paid content, the "Right Rule Collection," is slated for release this summer, adding two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four New World Wonders. Additional free content and updates are planned between April and September. Firaxis promises continued post-launch support from October 2025 onward. Specific release dates for all announced content remain unannounced.
