Sony Pictures has announced that the Chainsaw Man film, titled "The Movie: Reze Arc," will slash its way into U.S. theaters on October 29, 2025.

The studio revealed the news during its CinemaCon presentation, confirming it has secured worldwide theatrical rights (excluding Japan) to bring this adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's work to global audiences this fall. While U.S. fans will get to see it in late October, the film will debut in over 80 other countries starting September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the Japanese release on September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was first announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to MAPPA's 2022 anime series. The story follows Denji, a young man granted a second chance at life after forming a pact with Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil. This deal grants him the power to manifest chainsaws from his body, transforming him from a mere Chainsaw Boy into something far greater.

"Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" will introduce the pivotal manga character Reze to the anime. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film features the return of the entire original voice cast.
