Battlefield Updates Unveiled in Exclusive Alpha Test

EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield installments. This internal testing initiative offers select players a sneak peek at core gameplay mechanics and concepts, some of which may not appear in the final product. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Initial testing within Battlefield Labs will feature Conquest and Breakthrough modes, prioritizing evaluation of combat and the game's destruction system, followed by balance adjustments.

Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with expansion to more regions planned.

The developers have confirmed the game is in a crucial development phase, though a release date remains unannounced. Development is a collaborative effort between four studios: DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios.
