Insider Tom Henderson sheds light on the postponement, citing the need to correct historical and cultural inaccuracies and further polish the game. While rumors of Yasuke's removal circulated, Henderson clarifies that his role will be adjusted, not eliminated.

Development challenges included the late integration of historical consultants and internal communication issues. Technically, the game isn't ready for launch, requiring further bug fixes and gameplay refinements. However, Henderson's sources suggest a February 14th, 2025 release is now feasible, given the remaining development time.
