Starting today, Dell is offering an incredible deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, for just $2,399.99 shipped. This price point represents one of the best values you can find for an RTX 5080-equipped prebuilt system, especially considering the upward price trend since the RTX 50 series launch in January. At Dell, the next cheapest option with an RTX 5080 GPU is over $4,000, making this deal exceptionally competitive. If you're considering building your own DIY PC, finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU is nearly impossible, and the cost would likely match that of this complete system.

$2,399.99 at Alienware

This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC features an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, part of the Meteor Lake series, reaches a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz with 20 cores and a 30MB cache. The system is cooled efficiently with a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler and powered by a robust 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The RTX 5080, one of the new Blackwell graphics cards, has been extremely hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie noted, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 may not be a significant upgrade – it doesn’t offer much of a performance lead over the RTX 4080, though the extra frames from DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation do enhance gameplay in supported titles. However, for those with older graphics cards looking for a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 is a solid choice, particularly if you're keen on Nvidia's AI enhancements."

RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere

The initial preorders for Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards sold out within an hour of going live. The highest-end models, the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, were released first, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti in February. Prebuilt gaming PCs with these new GPUs are also in short supply, with many systems now out of stock, increased in price, or facing extended delivery delays.
